Information clause on data processing

We hereby inform you that we process your personal data. Details of this can be found below.

1. The administrator of your* personal data is

– Advocate Paweł Stachurski – Stachurski and Grzybowska Adwokacka Spółka Partnerska, based in Wrocław.

– Advocate Katarzyna Grzybowska-Jagódka – Stachurski and Grzybowska Adwokacka Spółka Partnerska with its registered office in Wrocław.

2. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer whom you can contact regarding the protection of your personal data and the exercise of your rights:

3. We will process your* data solely for the purpose of executing the legal aid contract covered by the power of attorney/order* granted, in accordance with the principles listed in Art. 5 GDPR and Art. 6 of the Law of 26.05.1982. Law on Advocacy (i.e., Journal of Laws 2017, item 2368, as amended). It is not permissible to process your* data for direct marketing purposes.

4. At any time you* have the right to object to the processing of your* data, processed for the purpose and on the basis indicated above. We will stop processing your* data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate that there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your* interests, rights and freedoms, or your* data are necessary for us to possibly establish, assert or defend claims.

5. We will keep the data for the period necessary for the proper performance of the contract, but no longer than the statute of limitations for asserting a claim or erasing a conviction.

6. Your* personal data may be transferred only to lawyers on whom the law imposes a duty of secrecy – only for the purpose of enabling the replacement of the lawyer handling your* case, or to employees of the law firm who are entrusted in writing with the processing of personal data and who are responsible for violations of the processing rules.

7. Under the GDPR, you* have the right to:

(a) access to your data and receive a copy of it

(b) rectification (amendment) of your data

(c) request deletion, restriction or objection to their processing

(d) data portability

(e) file a complaint with the supervisory authority

8. Provision of data is voluntary except that refusal to provide it may hinder or prevent due legal assistance.

9. At any time you* have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your* personal data (including those belonging to a special category), but the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that was lawfully carried out before its withdrawal.

10. We do not transfer your data outside Poland/EU/European Economic Area.
